There are few usages in particle に。

1. It can be use as time marker

わたしは六時起きます。 I wake up at 6 o'clock.
七月六日イギリスに来ました。 I came to Japan on July 6th.

2a. When you receive something to someone. The persons from whom you receive those action are marked with に。

リーさん本を貸しました。  I lent my books to Ms. Lee
鈴木さん英語を教えます。 I teach Ms Suzuki English.

2b. When you give something to someone. The person whom you give/lend to are marked with に。

マリさんCD を借りました。 I borrowed a CD from Ms. Mary。
岩崎さん日本語を習います。 I learn Japanese from Ms. Iwasaki.

However, から is used instead of に when you receive something from an orgaization like a company.

木村さんは本田さんから花をもらいました。 Ms Kimura received flowers from Honda.
銀行からお金を借りました。 I borrowed money from the bank.

3. に indicated the place where things/person are present.

わたしの居間テレビがあります。 There is a TV in my living room
